'Italian For Beginners' was a fantastic read. It was funny, sweet, touching and had lots of twists and turns. The main character Cat was believable, funny, smart, independent and lovable. The book had a lot of romance in it, with side dishes of friendship and family. The main focus was not necessarily on the men in the story, but more on Cat and how she developed. Kristin somehow made me fall for all the characters, which doesn't happen all that often (and gave me a whiplash of confused emotions). This book was a semi- light read, which is great if you want something light between dark reads, but not too cheesy and predictable.
Read it and let me know what YOU think!
