'The Art Of Hearing Heartbeats' is probably one of the most beautifully written books I have ever read. Never mind that the story is a beautiful and heartbreaking one, and that the characters' lives are so smartly intertwined in a way that leaves you questioning everything until the last page. The emotional and picturesque way Jan-Philipp Sendker describes everything is what makes that book a piece of art. every sound, sight, touch and taste are described with such detail, it makes your heart flutter. It was a beautiful book but it could bore someone who doesn't like beating around the bush. There was one sex scene, but it wasn't graphic, so I think that's not really a problem.
regardless, I really recommend reading this book sometime in your life, maybe when you're more patient :)
