'The Declaration' is one of those rare books that can change the way you look at life and haunt you long after you've finished reading it. Because it is written from the point of view of a innocent young girl who truly believes this outrageous world she lives in is just, it was heartbreaking at times, and truly shook you to the core. It is impossible to stay indifferent while reading this book. It is a book you can read a thousand times and it will still grip you and get you all kinds of emotional. If it isn't obvious, I love this book and think it's amazing. about it being age appropriate- I think it just depends on how mature you are- it's not violent or sexual, but I think it's better to read it when you can read between the lines and understand the depth of it. I first read it when I was 13 or 14 and I still enjoy it (I'm almost 16)
Read it and let me know what YOU think!
